Venice

        If I could go to once place in the world it would be Venice, Italy. I have always wanted to go there ever since I was a child. Due to its artistic value and the variety of pieces there, I have always dreamed about going there for inspiration. I plan to go there sometime in my lifetime to replenish my passion for the arts. It is so interesting due to the fact of the variety of different paintings and other artworks. Seeing different varieties of art has always interested me. Venice is definitely my top place to go in the world.

Temporary Escape

A temporary escape is something essential to someone in a very emotional time. During hard times in life, one may need to calm down and need a place to clearly think about a particular subject. I, on the other hand, do not have a specific temporary escape. Any destination that is quiet enough for me to focus could be my temporary escape. As long as it is quiet and calm than I do not mind where it is. For example, a library, my room, or anywhere comfortable will do fine. It is good to have a temporary escape so one may have somewhere soothing to clearly think about a subject.

Introduction

My name is Derrick Antalan and I am currently enrolled in AP English 11 at B.C. Rain High School. Ever since I was a child, I wanted to be an artist. I want to pursue that career further by majoring in graphic design and a minor in character development. From taking this course, I expect to gather the information needed to pass the AP exam and further pursue my education to the fullest extent. The material learned through this course shall help me throughout the rest of my days. Everything that I have learned and will learn in this class and in my other classes will help me achieve excellence and greatness.
